How failed, pending, duplicated and completed financial-service transactions are handled.
Published by Billbring Payment Solution Pvt ltd · Effective date: To be confirmed
This Policy explains how failed, pending, duplicate, incorrectly processed and successfully completed transactions are handled across Billbring services. It is subject to applicable RBI directions, payment-system/NPCI rules, biller/operator procedures and partner agreements.
If the sender is debited but the beneficiary is not credited, the transaction will be traced under the applicable rules. For pending transfers, verify status before sending again. Successful transfers to incorrect beneficiary details are not automatically refundable; report the error immediately so the relevant bank/partner can assess recovery. Confirmed duplicate or erroneous debits will be investigated and resolved as applicable.
If an account is debited but cash is not received, the customer should report the transaction promptly with the reference, date, amount and outlet details. The responsible bank/participant will investigate under the applicable AEPS dispute and adjustment process. Successful cash withdrawals are not ordinarily cancellable, but disputed or unauthorised transactions will be handled under the applicable procedures.
If a payment is debited but not received by the biller, the transaction will be reconciled and reversed or otherwise resolved within the applicable timeline. Check pending status before paying again. Completed bill payments are not generally cancellable solely because the customer changes their mind; overpayments and erroneous payments are subject to biller and payment-system procedures.
If a recharge fails after payment, Billbring will check the status with the recharge provider and refund/reverse as applicable. Pending transactions will be verified before a refund is confirmed. Successfully applied recharges are generally non-cancellable, except where operator terms or law provide otherwise. Recovery for an incorrect number or plan is not guaranteed.
If the customer is debited but the merchant does not receive confirmation or the payment is not completed, the transaction will be handled under the applicable reversal framework. A successful payment is not automatically refundable merely on request; merchant refund/cancellation terms, consumer law, chargeback rights and applicable regulations apply. Merchant-approved refunds will be initiated through the permitted payment route. Duplicate and unauthorised transactions will be investigated under applicable procedures.
Failed payouts will be reconciled with the bank or payout partner, and funds returned/credited as required. Pending payouts must be verified before a duplicate payout is initiated. Completed payouts are not ordinarily cancellable; recovery of erroneous transfers depends on the bank process, recipient cooperation and law.
Different payment rails have different reversal timelines. Under the RBI harmonised failed-transaction framework, certain covered UPI fund transfers where the beneficiary is not credited have a T+1-day reversal timeline; certain covered UPI merchant transactions without confirmation have a T+5-day timeline; and certain covered AEPS transactions where an account is debited but confirmation is not received at the merchant location have a T+5-day credit-adjustment timeline. Compensation of ₹100 per day may apply to covered cases where the applicable deadline is exceeded. These are examples, not universal timelines; the exact rule, responsible participant and compensation depend on transaction type and current applicable directions. These figures must be revalidated before production publication.
Contact customer care on +91 8796883271 or through the contact page. Provide the transaction reference/RRN if available, date/time, amount, product, registered contact or merchant ID, and a short description. Never provide passwords, PINs or OTPs. A dedicated support email and complaint-form URL have not yet been verified.
Some complaints require verification by a bank, payment network, biller, telecom operator or service provider. Billbring will communicate available status and route the complaint to the responsible participant where required. Any mandatory reversal or compensation deadline overrides a general estimate given by support.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights under applicable Indian consumer law, payment-system regulations or other mandatory legal requirements.
The latest version and effective date will be published on the website once approved.
